American Idol kicks off another season with Jennifer, Randy and Steven. The audition process started on Wednesday in Savanna, Georgia. A total of 42 people were given tickets to Hollywood and some of them were truly really good. The shows return was refreshing after the obnoxious season of X Factor.

Contestants from every walk of life stepped up in Savanna to take their turn at a shot for fame and fortune. Steven came dangerously close to swallowing some teeth after telling a father of several girls that  the City he and his family is from is hot and humid like his daughters.

 The last audition of the evening came courtesy of Phillip Phillips who sounded really good.Phillip is also an accomplished musician as well. Looking forward to his journey on Idol. Fortunately for viewers we got to see more good acts in the premiere rather than a bunch of idiots.

We were treated to a Ryan Seacrest look-alike and would make a fine MC but could not sing a lick. I do not think Ryan can either. The show will return tomorrow night for a second round of auditions.
