With food prices rising all the time it sure makes sense to have these easy to do additions to your kitchen at your disposal and you only need to harvest what you need at the moment you are to use them. No waste of herbs that dry out or tomatoes that spoil shortly after purchase.

Check at your local nursery for kits that are as easy as planting and occasional watering. You do not need to have a green thumb with kits. I have fresh herbs and hanging tomatoes at home now and I was spurred to do so after having a salad made by a friend fresh from their garden.
