Tonight on American Idol the five finalist get their results after last night 60′s and British invasion showcase. Cold Play and Carrie Underwood performed on the show tonight. The first to find out if they were safe was Joshua. His performances last night were probably the best of the evening of the final five.

Phillip and Holly are up next and Holly is in the bottom two and Phillip is safe. Phillip is lucky because he has had two bad weeks in a row with illness hurting his performances.

Jessica and Skylar are up next and Jessica is safe putting Skylar and Holly in the bottom two. After another Cold Play performance the final results are announced and Holly is declared safe. Skylar Laine is eliminated from the competition.

The final four are as follows;

• Phillip Phillips
